Monday 27 June saw a landmark occasion for both
Fr Edward and everyone at St Wilfrid's.

Following his ordination at Sheffield Cathedral the day before, Fr Edward officated at his frist Mass. Assisted by newly ordaned Deacon, Fr Thomas Carpenter, and supported by a Mass of Priests along with a full conregation Fr Edward set a very high standard for the future.

The Mass was followed by Fr Edward giving a personal blessing followed by a buffet and drinks. Thanks go to all who prepared the food for what was a very special occasion.
